  • Hi Mitchelle, I would just drop a little oil on it and wipe it down. The rust should come off. Worst case scenerio is call Sig and they'll send out a new spring. 603-610-3000

  • Rust on the springs just means that moisture got to it. You should let it soak a minute in CLP or other bore cleaner, wipe it down and apply a light coat of oil and you should be fine. Still call Sig and I'm sure they will send you a new replacement spring at Customer Service 603-610-3000 option 1.

    Phone: 603-610-3000 if its just surface rust and it cleans up good with some CLP I would go ahead and shot it without any further worries
