Rimfire rifles are Good to go in CA. Even Buds state restrictions for CA shows this : budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf
Being a rimfire it is legal. I'm in Ca so I always give this link to others when they ask about Ca compliant firearms. budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/2084_1153/California+Compliant/
