Kel Tec P32 Overview

Kel Tec P-32 is definitely a nice touch in the chain of calibers as far as innovative weaponry is concerned. The frame of this gun is made of a polymer, the top part is solidly made of steel. The polymer certainly keeps it weighing very much, as this neat little pocket gun comes in at just 6.6 ounces (unloaded). This nifty little handgun comes in a very wide range of metal finishes and frame colors. The gun comes with one 7-round magazine.



The Kel-Tec P32 semi-automatic pistol operates with a short-recoil delivery system on a .32 ACP DAO set up. This little gun is very fashionable in terms of being a concealed carry firearm within the United States. The functional design for the P32 was invented and patented by Saint George Kellgren. Kellgren is a well known Swedish firearms designer who was associated earlier with the Husqvarna, Intratec, and Grendel Firearms. The manufacturing plant, Kel-Tec CNC Industries Incorporated., of Cocoa, Florida, is responsible for many new innovations in the area of polymer frame weaponry. The P32 was designed for concealed carry and marketed to civilians and to enforcement officers as a “back-up” gun. All edges of the gun are rounded and ironed so that nothing protrudes from the gun, thus reducing its visibility and help eliminate the chance of the gun getting caught on your clothing. I don’t know that St. Peter would let you into heaven, if you died trying to get your concealed firearm out of your pocket while it is caught on your clothing!



.32 ACP ammo isn’t cheap, and specialty defense ammunition is even higher! This little gun is not something that you are going to go plinking with all the time. If you want to plink with a centerfire pistol, the 9MM is a NATO round and is available at much cheaper prices than the little .32 ACP. Of course there are some that say all a .32 ACP will do is to make somebody mad. Here is the trick, start hitting what you’re aiming at. The barrel is just an extension of your finger, can you point? The only thing that you need to get used to will be the long trigger pull. It breaks cleanly at about 5 pounds.



Kel Tec makes variety of firearms, some are well known, some others are not. All-in-all, I have read very few negative reviews regarding those dissatisfied with the purchase of one of Kel Tec’s weapons, especially when compared to the millions that they have sold. First generations can occasionally end up with a few bugs in them, however, in every case that I have heard of, this factory seems to always be willing to repair or replace them as required.
