• Q: What is the trigger pull on a S&W Shield EZ 380 AP

  Paul, the S&W Shield EZ 380acp had right around a 4.5 pound trigger pull. once broke in it's a decent trigger. Best sticker fired trigger I've seen is in the canik tp9 series. Hope this helps.

  William, Smith & Wesson M&P 380 Shield EZ Front Sight is not dovetailed and has uses a Retaining Ring that retains the front sight on to the under side of the slide. Details here : https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/3005540

• Q: I own a Bersa .380 Thunder and love the pistol, accurate, light recoil, easy to operate and easily concealed. I am shopping around for another .380 and came across the 380 EZ. My question is does anyone own or has fired both pistols that can offer a compare and contrast of the two?

  Karl, I also own both, if you like the Bersa I think you will love the EZ. It is larger than the Bersa, but my last 300 round range test was flawless with multiple brands, weights and types of rounds. My wife loves the EZ more than any other pistol we have and it is now her primary CCW piece.

• Q: Does the manual safety override the grip safety? Or does one have to "unsafe" both in order to fire a round??

  380 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) is a compact rimless cartridge also known as 9mm Short. 38 Special is a rimmed revolver cartridge that is significantly longer and does not generally function well in semi-auto guns unlike 380 ACP. Ballistically, 38 Special has more energy but neither of the two are exceptionally powerful.
