  Hi Joseph, I'm not aware of any 20 gauge mini shells, but if you find some, they will not cycle reliably. There is no adapter for the 20 gauge model.

• Q: I know that this used to be legal in NY State but I’m getting conflicting information as to whether it still is. New York City has strict regulations about color (black only). Is this legal in NYC? If not, does anyone know which 20 gauge shotguns are legal, and which are good for a woman. Thanks

  Hi Lisa, it is not NY legal. The following “firearms” are prohibited:
  ✘ Smoothbore (non-rifled) barrel firearms with a pistol grip, regardless of barrel length, including, but not limited to, the Mossberg Cruiser, Mossberg Shockwave, Remington Tac-14, Henry Axe, etc.
  Just about any 20 gauge pump shotgun would be legal. I'd recommend the Maverick 88 budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/42605/maverick+88+security+12+ga+18.5+cylinder+bore+5+1 ,

• Q: I want a "point and shoot" system for night hunting of armadillos and critters. I'd like it to mount UNDER the barrel to preserve the gun's sight system. 1) Can you recommend a high lumen compatible laser/light? 2) Do I need additional mounting hardware?

  Hi David, the forend light/laser linked to below is for the 12 gauge model only. It will not fit the 20 gauge.

  There are none available for the 20 gauge, you would need to buy the light & laser separately.

• Q: will the Mossbergpistol grip fit on this model ?

  Hi Doug, yes it will fit, but be sure it maintains the greater than or equal to 26" in length. If the pistol grip makes the gun less than 26", then it will become a AOW (any other weapon). You need to check/know your local laws before doing any modifications to the Shockwave.

  Matthew, yes sir, this is MD legal. This is considered a handgun in MD and must be on the MD handgun roster, which it is.

  Stephen, yes sir, this is perfectly legal in Rhode island. This is not considered a shotgun or pistol, it's just considered as a firearm so there's no restrictions. Hope this helps and enjoy.

  Buds doesn't seem to be getting any in any time soon but really no way of knowing. I'd check out gunbr0ker, they're a site that allows private owners and small shops to sell their products so they usually have rare and hard to find firearms and accessories. Hope this helps.
