• Q: I became a Buds member and I did not pay the $25 surcharge for Laway in 90 days. I read and it does not specify this to me.

  Hi Michael, not sure what $25 surcharge you are talking about. A 15% down payment is required for all layaways. This applies to TB members also. This is not a surcharge, but part of the price of the gun.
  Team Bud's members are allowed 2 no-fee layaways per year. You should not have any layaway fees or surcharges.
  If you joined Team Bud's after the gun was on layaway, then it's too late, you will still incur the fees. You need to join TB before you put anything on layaway.

  Yes you can NOTE per buds new policy layaways are at the NON CASH price (no cash discount) also layaway is free the 1st 30 days a $10 fee will be charged for the next 30 and a $15.00 fee for the last 30 days place item in cart. go to checkout. select FFL to be shipped to (can select or change later) continue to payment select Layaway. Pay the 20% needed to remove gun from inventory . Some Items can be placed on a 180 day layaway but most have a 90 day lay away. after payment completed firearm ships to you chosen FFL and you pay him a transfer fee and do paperwork the transfer fee amount is up to the receiving FFL holder normally between $15.00 and $35.00 if you are going to do a layaway I don't understand why a person would not join team buds. A 90 day layaway (non Team buds ) will cost $25.00 in fees. TB gets you free layaways and costs $29.95 the 1st year and $24.95 after that If you do 2 layaways a year you come out ahead

  Paul, this pistol would be a solid 8.5. I own several Canik's and this is a full size competition inspired pistol. The longer barrel, sights and ergonomics are competition inspired. For better concealed carry the smaller siblings will be better suited. Caniks are just as rugged and reliable as Glocks and are a better bang for your buck. Cheers and stay safe!

  But looking at this exact model (looked up by the upc) buds is literally the only retailer selling this gun with that inthe description.
  This is likely a typo.

• Q: I do NOT see anything in the manual or online, like here at Buds, so I figured I'd ask here. Can I safely use 9mm +p or +p+ rated ammo in my Canik TP9SFX. Thanks.

  Michael, according to Century Arms, Caniks are rated for NATO and +P rounds. They told me NOT to run +P+ rounds through it.
