Cimarron 1873 Short 32-20 Lever Action Rifle - 20" Barrel, 10 Rounds, Wood, Walnut Stock

I have wanted a 32-20 WCF rifle for over 50 years and I am extremely happy with this rifle. The case hardened frame and lever are beautiful and the octagon barrel is the icing on the cake. The rifle is very accurate with 32-20 100gr cowboy loads and is fun to shoot. The 32-20 round is much quieter than the larger pistol calibers and has negligible recoil. The only complaint is Uberti's failure to utilize a smaller diameter bolt, elevator, and magazine tube to accommodate the smaller diameter 32-20 case like the original Winchester rifles. Instead Uberti uses the large 45 colt magazine tube and 38/357 magnum bolt and carrier which causes sloppy feeding and hang ups with flat point & semi wadcutter ammo. Overall I am still very pleased with this beautiful rifle.
