  Ken, this is not drilled & tapped. I actually own this gun, it has a 3/8 dovetail rail. I just watched the video James linked to and it says nothing about being drilled & tapped.

  Tim, with the birds head grip this has a overall Length of 31.25 inches. With the stock on the overall length is 39 inches even. Hope this helps.

  Roberto, yes these are reliable shotguns. I would definitely recommend testing it with your intended self defense ammo. Things happen where the ammo you plan to use just won't cycle properly, or it came from the factory with issues. I always test any firearm before trusting my life to it. Hope this helps
