What type scope rings are best for my 270, and what height should I have? I,am new to this blog and wanted to respond to answers. James I like yours about the 1 piece Leupold. I purchased a Leupold VX.R 2-7x33. Looks like the 1 piece is made more for AR's ?? Worried that it may sit to high. Any thoughts??

I saw a review someone said it doesn't lock open on last round. I had a 40 of the same and it did. Does this one not for some reason?

Question is does every firearm have to fo thu FFL first now when buying? The reason I ask is I bought a Mossberg 22 carbine type rifle a couple years ago and it actually was delivered Fed Ex. I did a fact check on myself about this and yea, the 22 was delivered by Fed Ex to my door.
