What does this weigh when loaded with say buck shot or even without the ammo would be fine? This would be for home defense and my wife would need to be able to handle it. She is a dainty little thing.

In the Buds website description, is says the Thompson 1924A-1 Deluxe with 18" barrel and 1924A1 Deluxe with 16.5 barrel are both the same overall length? is this accurate. if so, what makes up the 1.5" difference in the overall rifle length?

I don’t see the CA at the end of the model number. But I’ll ask anyway, is this model ca compliant? Does anyone know of any commander style 45acp other than kimbers that are ca compliant. I prefer Springfields. Thanks.
