In many gun ranges near me, shotguns can only be shot with slug rounds which have massive recoil. My question is, do these blanks have less recoil? I'm training my family members who are scared of the soreness/ bruising to their smaller frame.

Why is this shotgun, and any other mossberg shotgun considered illegal in California? The law states you're able to possess a shotgun with a barrel length greater than 18", which this one and all of the others I'm trying to buy are, yet they aren't on the California roster. What makes this weapon non CA compliant?

Can you use a handguard on an M4 or AR-15 with a rail system that’s longer than the original one it came with? Im looking to buy a rifle, but the ones in my price range all have short factory handguards installed & longer barrels. I want the longer handguard & rail system as I want to be able to add a vertical grip and light to the underneath of the handguard. Thank you in advance.
