I heard the other day that with a new handgun a certain number of FMJ ammo should be put through before firing HPs. I had never heard this before. Is it true and if so why and how many rounds of FMJ? Does it apply to both semi-auto and revolvers? Thanks a lot.

I'm left handed and I've handled this rifle but never shot it. I'm concerned about accidentally releasing the mag when firing due to the release button placement and me being left handed. Have any left handed shooters reported a problem with this?

Is It worth visiting Bud’s in person? If so, what location? I’m curious to see the shop, but it would be several hours of driving each way.
