Can you also use the sights? As in the rear sight high enough to clear the optic and meet the front sight. incase the optic battery was to die on me?

I put this item in layaway a few days ago, My price in layaway is $559.65, which includes $16.30 for no cash discount. Today I see the new price on the website is $549.99 cash or retail. Am I out the difference? I normally wouldn't bother much about 10 bucks, but I'm already losing 4 mags on the deal because it's shipping to NJ, and only 1 mag can ship. Starting to think I should call and cancel this order.
