Just picked up a new Breda Dickinsin 12 gauge XX3D pump from my local FFL dealer. I tried 2 3/4" shells first with no issue but the 3" only jam and will not feed into the chamber. Is this a common issue with these guns new and is there a known fix?

I am getting ready to purchase the Stevens 320. Are there any current problems with this weapon? I have seen the problems of the past. I am checking to make sure they have been addressed. Looking for the field dressed models in 12 guage to the 410. Any help would be appreciated
