I asked my hunting buddy if he thought this was legal due to the similarities with the ksg, he seems to think since it fires twice before you pump that its semi auto, while that's kinda not true i do kinda see where he is coming from but as to the legality of it in our state i'm unsure and have asked this question on a few forums but no response surprisingly. I don't really see why this would not be legal but maybe someone knows more than me you know, better to be safe.

Where did you get the description of the CA model above? It states that "The P380 does not have a magazine disconnect nor does it have double-strike capability." In fact, the first part of the statement is incorrect. I've just received my KP38233N, and it DOES HAVE a mag disconnect safety.

None of the answers so far has truly clarified a problem created by Colt when it labels models with names that include "1970" but then installs Series 80 model firing pin plunger safety parts, including on some "O1970CM". So for the Nth time, will Bud's or someone else please tell us does this model (Buds number 15440) have Series 80 firing pin plunder parts in it, or is it a true 70 Series, clean and free of those Series 80 firing pin plunger safety parts?

Earlier versions of this model (O1970CM) manufactured about ten years ago were actually "80 Series" with the additional firing pin plunger parts, and were not "70 Series" as deceptively suggested by the model name Colt chose. Which is this gun? Thanks!

I was told that in the state of AZ, you literally needed a felony on your record to be denied purchasing a handgun... Well I have no felony’s on my record, but I am currently on probation. Would that be a reason why the Feds denied me my right to own a firearm?
