posted a Q yesterday with 2 responses, thanks to those who responded. The reason im asking if this model is legal is because kimber only listed 4 model #s on the DOJ website all others are just descriptions of models. smith wesson, springfield, ruger, ect.. all have specific model #s listed. Buds does not have this gun on california legal gun section of website also. this state is so jacked up I just want to be sure before i order one then run into problems, thanks for your time, jeff

I live in California and interested in buying this Sig P220 (model number 220R345BSS). Your website indicates this handgun is California approved. However, when I check the California approved handgun roster, only model number 220R345B is approved. (without the SS suffix). Before I order this handgun, can you please clarify: 1. The stock grips for this pistol are awful. I've searched everywhere for a decent set of grips for the FS45, but so far no luck at all. Incredibly, IWI customer service passed the buck for their awful plastic piece-of-junk grips onto the backs of their customers saying that it's up to "enthusiasts" to convince someone to make aftermarket grips (and, to quote Jimi Hendrix...that ain't too cool). Anyway, if anyone finds an aftermarket grip for this (excellent) pistol, please post. Thanks.
