What scope actually comes with this gun? On their website Mossberg says it's a "variable scope with lens cap", however lists Vortex Crossfire II as the scope they put with their standard .308. But this stock picture does not look like a Vortex, any thoughts?

I am torn between the Taurus pt140 and the 840. I like all the features of the 840 but the size of I'm torn between Taurus 840 or G2140. I love the safety features and capacity of the 840but I love the compactness of the 140. I've heard good and bad about both. First gun. please help
