FOID issue in IL

I recently ordered three firearms for delivery to Illinois. I'm concerned that my FOID card may expire before the delivery is made to my FFL, and the transaction is complete. I applied and paid for a FOID renewal on January 4th, for which I have documentation, but it is still "under review" due to a backlog of applications in the state. What are my options if this transaction is not complete before April 1st (my current FOID expiration date)?

I don't have a 38 special but my Lady friend is looking to buy a 38 special because of the neighborhood she lives in and since she is by herself with 3 dogs & a bird she isn't taking any chances this revolver all you have to do is pull the trigger until it's empty I aussume wouldn't it be better to shoot it first before making that decision before buying a revolver

I ordered ammo on Thursday but my foid wasn’t on file so I sent them two emails with my foid info attached. However two days later my order still says pending foid. Hi everyone, I am a first time buyer of a firearm. I live in Missouri and my friend recommended this website. I placed an order for a Ruger AR556 and ammo yesterday, paid in full (had to sign up for membership as well). Now I have an email requiring that I send Qualifying Credentials but I have no credentials to send?! I had someone confirm my FFL dealer for shipment on chat yesterday, but I have no idea how to proceed and need help! I have a $1700 order on hold... thank you for your assistance.
