I prefer factory mags where available. Does Savage make a 10 rd magazine that fits this rifle? My gun has the push button release on the bottom of the 4 rd box magazine, not on the frame of the action. I'd post a picture here if I could. The larger mag people have linked to does not show this configuration. Any other options available?

I once had a Charter Arms Pitbull in .40 S&W and the inside of the cylinder was very rough, with tiny rings. It made the gun unnecessarily difficult to clean. Are they still like that?

Hi James that ammo is for both defense and for range practice? for 50 rds it is $16.15 I can see it being high due to the uses but isn't that as bit high to spend on range paper targets? Yes a box 2 put away for my at home gun the revolver .38 special I think it is never shot it have to practice with that one also is good idea but to use it at range I was hoping to get bulk for range so I can practice and get to like this strong recoil Taurus at a much lower price before starting on pistol lol

I've always been under the impression that 12" barrel is required for full powder burn, anything shorter and you have more muzzle flash (or flame), that could be unwanted in certain circumstances. Can anyone comment on their experience with this weapon?

Hi Randi. I have never used the brand you mentioned then looked it up and its from Italy not the USA and other shooters told me to stay away ammo coming from other countries so I was wondering how they work for you? Also have you ever tried Winchester because that is all my baby ever shot I am kind of an anal person being old :-) so I tend to stick to the same ole unless I am shown a better way so can you please tell me of your experiences with this brand :-). Thank you for your help.

Thank you very much Michael W, Randi I, James G. So hard to pick just 1. Anyway Michael may I please add a question to your response so I can better decide the bullets to use for practice. Michael while your answer is cheaper then the can/bullets if I was to buy that can w/o bullets what would it cost since bullets would be $199.08. Do I save getting the can w/bullets or get can separately? Yes I tend to over analyze wish I could stop but I'm old and set in my ways. Thank you

James you gave me a bullet that is 124gr but I am used to 115 gr is there a difference and is 124 ok for my Taurus?
