My son had an earlier model Shield 9mm. He said the magazine released to easy, he got out of his car one day and mag dropped on the ground. Anybody else experience this sort of problem?

I just picked up this rifle from my local dealer. I purchased it based on all the good reviews on this site. Well I test the rifle and it won't chamber round. Has there been a history of this problem? Would I be better off just buying another bolt for the carrier group. I guess this Is another case of you get what you pay for.

The only complaint I have with Ruger is the lack of good holsters. I want to purchase the SR40 but can't find a good OWB or Drop Leg Holster. I prefer the Safariland with rotating hood and automatic locking system but they don't have one that fits the SR40. I want good quality and durability. If I can't find one, I'll just have to purchase the Glock G22. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I called Springfield armory to ask about the safety on the EliteRO.They told me it only has a ambedextrious thumb safety. I asked the community earlier today's the same question and all the responses said that it had both beavertail grip safety and ambedextrious thumb safety. Ok so who is correct?

I know this gun is MD compliant by law (except for the 30 round magazine) Will Buds or the factory change the 30 round magazine out for a state compliant 10 round magazine before shipment? If not would i be able to get it sent to a licensed dealer in VA instead? As the law in maryland prohibits the sale,transfer, or manufacturing of over a 10 round magazine, but does not prohibit possession of one?
