I was looking to buy the S&W governor Revolver that is chambered for 410 shells /.45 long colt/.45 ACP. I also own firearms that shoot .45 auto. Can I shoot .45 auto on this revolver or is .45 ACP different?

Can you convert a M&P40 to a M&P9 with just a Storm Lake 9mm barrel change? And 9mm mag change. I have a Storm Lake 9mm barrel and a 9mm mag. ALSO - Detroit police M&P40 trade ins. My experience with police is they don't shoot much - maybe 500rds/yr. I shoot 15k rds/yr. By trade in put my barrel and mag in - good to go?

Who is the actual manufacturer of this pistol? Is it just a rebranded polymer witness but 100 bucks more than the identical actual witness also for sale here at Buds? Edit.....#999244 EAA Witness has a slightly longer barrel. Other than the brand markings on the shorter slide of the Rock Island version, everything else appears to be identical.

This is a followup to my max effective range question. I reload 9mm handgun ammo, using just over min loads for range ammo. If I bumped my loads up to the listed max charge, or use factory +P ammo, would the Ruger PC safely handle the pressure? I assume a hotter load would result in longer effective range than my target loads.
