So I'm looking to get into reloading my 30-30 cartridges. I'm fairly new to the scene, I know most of the basics but I am definitely green around the gills. My question is, is this everything that I will need to get a basic start on reloading ammo? Is there anything missing? Anything you suggest? Any help at all would be great.!

I see where a question was answered, saying it required shipment to an FFL. How in the world is that, because it's just a frame, right? I see no guts inside this frame. So why would would it require pickup at an FFL?

I know this version is illegal in CA, but for what reason (I know the state is full of idiotic politicians and their sheep, but I'm looking for an answer beyond that)? This qualifies as an other type of firearm, not a shotgun, so shouldn't the 14.375 barrel not matter in the equation?
