I've had this since spring and tried the regular ammo but it will not work. I have to use varmit ammo or higher velocity to make it rack and eject shells. Works flawless with that but the gun won't work at all with the recommended ammo. Anything I could do and is everyone or anyone else having this problem?

I swear I've triple checked the shotgun rules for Commiefornia and I believe this passes, but no one is mentioning it as CA legal. It's got 18.5in barrel, it's 38 inches long, and it take 4 shells in the tube. Am I missing something to make this not CA compliant?
