Hi, I noticed there are two versions of this model; this version and the Mossy Oak Breakup model. That model has a cantilever rail on the 24" rifled barrel. This model doesn't seem to have that. Is the receiver drilled and tapped for an optic rail? Thanks.

I’ve never owed a shot gun, but I’d think it would be more stout and smooth. Just bought this today and did the function test in the manual when I got home. At the FFL dealership, the action slide assembly was rough, he told me I just need to break it in- “sit in front of the tv and do the pump action over and over”. Well it seems worse the more I do that the action slide assembly flexes and it’s not smooth. It catches at the rearward position. Also the safety switch is hard to push…

I have a new Magnum Research Baby Eagle III 9MM 4.3 full size, steel frame 15 round and I am experiencing a lot of Failure to Feed with many varieties of ammo. During the first 500rds, I have FTF (as much as 50%) with 115gr target ammo from AmmoInc, Fiocchi, Magtech, S&B and Winchester. I have not had any issues with 115gr and 124gr CCI Blazer. Gun also jams if I do not freely release the slide. There was one review of Baby Eagle that had jamming issue. Please share any experience or resolution.
