Reoposting question in regard to Remington V3 shotgun. The problem is that if it is one that the old Remington company manufactured, there is no longer a warranty. I have emailed Bud's and they won't check to see if it was made by the new Remington Arms company. Their excuse is that they won't open the box to check the serial number. Not a problem if they look on the end of the box where the serial number is listed.

Has anyone purchased a Remington V3 lately? Did the serial number start with RAS to show that it was made by the new Remington Arms company? Buds won't varifiy this for me and say they won't open the box to check. The serial number number is written on the outside of the box! There is no warantee if you buy the bankrupt Remington model.
