This doesn't look to be the Gen 3. The Gen 3 comes with a thumb safety. Can anyone confirm if this is the most current model?

Can the barrel on this be switched out for the standard 4.11" barrel on the duty model to add a compensator while keeping the overall length to around 4.1 - 4.2 inches like the duty? I like the idea of this gun but am worried about muzzle flip with higher grain ammo.
