The FDE version of this gun says it has a 4.0 inch barrel. This gun in says it is a 3.6 inch. Is this correct or do all of them have 4 inch barrels?

Just bought a g19 gen5 for my son who is left handed, Mailed in from buds, After putting the first two mags through it, the trigger didn’t return, I cycled a round and tried again, same thing. I’ve read that it could be a weak firing pin spring? Some other video’s say the trigger bar is hitting the frame. ( It doesn’t) It came in battle worn red so I wasn’t sure if some of the “paint” got sprayed into it? I did notice the 4 metal slide rails were painted over though. Any ideas to help out.
