Notwithstanding a recent, very positive NRA review of Tisas’ new Model 1911A1 Aviator pistol I am reluctant to even consider purchasing the “Tisas 1911 Aviator Black .45 ACP” advertised herein due to the paucity of product information. Is this “Aviator Black” variant built on a forged aluminum frame as is the 9mm variant? Is it equipped with the same enhanced larger rear and front sights, as well as the brass bead on the front sight’s blade? A little transparency on what one gets for their money
