Early Gen 5 models had a cutout at the bottom forward of the magwell. I would like to make sure this model number does not have that cutout. The picture indicates that it does not but I know these can be generic pics.

Does any1 own an Auto-Ordnance GI Style 1911? If so, pros and cons...please. I saw this beauty and had to have it. I previously owned a Rem Commander 1911 Enhanced. Paid the extra $$ for the supposed "upgrades". Pretty accurate, jammed about every few mags. For a fairly expensive 🔫 (600+) is the "break in" period really always necessary? My local gunsmith which does work in my entire state)said it was nonsense to have to run hundreds of rounds b4 the 🔫 should function properly. Input please. T
