This may be stupid but I live in a free state and can have full size mags. I'm skiing because this version, the unfree state version, is available for the 180 day layaway but not the free state version. Can I buy this and use free state sized mags in it or do they alter it somehow do the regular mags don't work?

I recently purchased one of these,love it! I contacted diamondback and asked them if it was safe to carry with a round chambered. They responded by telling me that they couldn't answer that. So I responded asking if the pistol would go off in my pocket if I carried it chambered. Again,the same response from them. I've got to say, its a little unsettling that the manufacturer wont give me a straight answer on this.
