For anybody who has actually bought this firearm. Whats the actual holster included? I see a serpa style holster with a locking mechanism but I also at times see a a holster with a strap over the handle.

I have recently bought the XDE 9mm 3.3 pistol and enjoyed shooting it so much that I decided to replace my Smith and Wesson bodyguard with the Springfield 911 380. I usually carry my pistol appendage carry on my right side and like the ability to have a round in the chamber decocked and safety on with the XDE model. I wanted to know if this was possible with the 911 380? Does the firing pin disengage when the safety is on, and the hammer is down? If I am uncomfortable with the hammer cocked and lock should I just carry without a round and rack the slide if needed?

I bought one of these and after throwing the first 40 or 50 rounds to clean it, I noticed that the paint was peeling. I contacted Buds Gun but they do not want to honor the guarantee claiming that Springfield is responsible. I called Springfield and they told me that they do not paint the Slides, that Buds gun shops paint them or send them to paint. Buds Guns does not want to honor the guarantee.
