Bought a new S&W M&P 40S&W VTAC and went to clean it and the guide rod sticks out once I move the level down to unlock the slide from the frame. I can get it to go back in and come part by moving the slide with a little force, bought a new recoil assembly thinking that may fix the problem (bent rod) but nope same thing? Is there a problem with this gun or does it need worn in some?
