I have this same shotgun and was told by savage I couldn't shoot slugs out of it with the cylinder choke. Is this true cause I don't want to mess up my shotgun.

I just received my savage axis 2 precision and realized the barrel will move slightly up and down as if it wasn't tight. I checked the two bolts that hold the barrel and they seem tight, but is this just part of it being a floating barrel?
