Other than this being a little bit longer, is there any reason that his can't be used for home defense? First time gun buying looking for a home defense gun but something that is also good at the range. Is this a good purchase or should i consider a different 930 model like the spx?

I would like to point out that this shotgun is in fact legal in California as it is a pump action. To be considered an assault weapon here it would need to be semi-automatic with detachable magazines OR have a folding/telescoping stock AND a pistol grip. One of the answered questions on here states that it is not legal in CA and I just wanted to clear it up.

I am looking for a rifle for large game hunting. I have decided on a 308 but I am a petite shooter and many full size rifles just don't fit me well. would the Youth Mossberg Patriot suite me? I see it comes with spacers but cannot find anywhere it tells Length of Pull for the different set ups with the spacers.
