This would be my first pistol Red Dot. I'm very slowly and reluctantly getting in touch with the 21st century while clinging onto my 1911s and revolvers. Bud's information is more than lacking in the description of these items and there doesn't seem to be very many reviews. I know I'm not going to pay 4 to $500. Anyone out there have an opinion on this or another "budget optic"

If my 1911 frame has been recessed for the push through of the slide stop will this extend beyond it or has this been cut to take that into consideration and sits flush with the frame? It appears to have a flat end
