I own a 22lr rifle and a 28 gauge shotgun. Would like to purchase a scope, or red dot. The maximum range for hunting would be between 25 - 30 yards for each When shooting at the Army Range there are targets from 25 - 200 yards. Do not shoot competitively, just to see how far I can shoot and hit the target. Should I purchase a red dot or scope, and what type is best?
