With all options out there and at this higher price why should I purchase this one? Windham website not too informative and there are no video reviews on internet with this out several months now? I like the arm brace and higher end Kriss sights but still price seems high? I Any other pistols like this for around $700-800 you recommend?

A search of this forum shows this question asked many times, but never really answered. Most responses refer to the information screen for the "Qualified Professional" program, which does NOT answer the question. What is needed to show veteran status? I am not retired and have no ID, but I did serve as a Viet Nam era veteran, and have a DD214 to show that. Do veterans that did not serve long enough to retire qualify for "Qualified Professionals" discount?

Thanks for quick responses! Grips certainly may account for some weight. Both M66 and M627 are 7 shot, presumably using the same cylinder. Primarily a life-long 9mm and .45acp guy the .357 has become my favorite the last few years. I’ve run several thousand high velocity rounds per year. GP100 is built like a truck but now scoped. CCW size .357 just not designed for the punishment. Really like the Tracker but it needs to handle the pounding. Might have to be M66?

Taurus M66 vs M627

Trying to figure out the 10oz weight difference between the 4” barrel models. Comparing the 6” models— only 2.7oz. and M66 overall is 1.5” longer (no overall length given for 4” Tracker) Just can’t tell from pictures. Compact vs Medium? Structural or Semantics? But 10oz is a lot. Just wondering if anyone knows where it went. Want the porting but need durability. Any ideas? 617 vs 627 frame doesn't seem to account for 10oz. Esp using 6" models for comparisons.

I asked Buds Gun Shop through Team Buds contact us about this, and received a reply from Buds Gun Shop confirming a policy change effective 04/24/18. This is a Huge mistake IMO as there are others like myself who sometimes need 90 days to pay for a purchase. Not getting a cash discount\price match will force me to shop elsewhere. Enough replies to this question may encourage them reconsider their policy change on layaway items. SMH.
