I am trying to mount the scout scope recommended in the 12/2023 comment. Besides removing the peep sight, the scope hangs into the ejection area. It looks like I can move the rail forward an inch to get the clearance I need. However, before attempting that, I wanted to know if it is actually doable. Or would you recommend returning the scope for a shorter one?

I purchased a Escort BullTac 12 but didn't get the one with the carry handle. There are no sights only a long picatinny rail. Does anyone have recommendations for optics on it, also for a light. Maybe a combo light/sight.
