i want to buy the Remington 700 CDL 30-06 The picture on buds shows a dark finish Bolt in the receiver. I thought it should look more like a stainless finish. can anyone tel me the finish of the bolt in this rifle?

One reviewer commented on the difficulty in racking the slide on this gun. I have arthritis in my hands and I’m wondering if the slide loosens us over time. Is there perhaps a better choice in compact pistols for someone with hand issues? Thanks
