The stated barrel length is 3.7" but the porting extends into the 2.5" barrel range...so it appears the porting is actually behind the muzzle rather than right at the muzzle...please explain.

My curiosity has prompted this question. From what’ve read, the Magnum Research 22LR comes with a picatinny rail and the Magnum Research Magnum Lite .22 WMR (MLRS22WMH) cones with a weaver scope rail. Will someone confirm this? If true, wonder they did not standardize with just one? George W
