  • Hi Andrew and welcome. Not legally as this has a Shoulder Stock and will transfer as a Rifle Lower. Braced Lower or no Stock Lower would be legal. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

  • Hi Andrew, yes sir, just make sure your FFL transfers it as a 'Receiver'. It has never had an upper attached to it, so it is not a rifle or a pistol at this point. Some FFL's are afraid and will only transfer it as a rifle, but it is perfectly legal to transfer as a 'Receiver'. So call around and find a FFL who knows the law and will transfer it the way you want.
If it gets transferred as a rifle, then you can not turn it into a pistol. Transferred as a 'Receiver', you can build whatever you want.
Stay safe & have a great day!
