  • It's listed as a Compact but with a 3" barrel isn't it a Subcompact?

  • This is correct Alan. Even Springfield lists it as a compact, probably because of the extended grip. But normally 3" or below are considered "Sub Compact" pistols.

  • Hi Alan, They're all Sub Compacts. Just misprinted. Sorry for confusion. You can see here with the 3.3 model. budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/3906/Springfield+XD%C2%AE+MOD.2%C2%AE+%E2%80%93+3.3%E2%80%B3+Sub-Compact+Model+.45ACP

  • springfield lists the 3 and the 3.3 inch barrel as subcompacts (they don't list a compact at all) the .45acp has a 3.3 inch barrel not a 3 inch (maybe a discontinued model) I would contact Buds customer service (859) 368-0371 9am-9pm mon-fri or use the blue Chat Now button and ask
we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions
