What scope is on this rifle and can anything done about the magazine problem?

Hi David, The scope is a Weaver Kaspa 3-9x40 I have this same rifle and haven't had nor have I heard of any magazine issues.

This rifle comes with a Weaver Kaspa 3-9x40 Scope Mounted/Bore-sighted. I'm not aware of a magazine problem but would ask that you ask Savage Arms directly at (413) 568-7001 or (800) 370-0708 = 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST - Monday – Friday.
