The lighter pull of a cocked hammer fired semi-automatic can make it much easier to keep your sights on target when firing your first shot. Double-action strikers will typically have less energy than hammer fired guns. Most striker fired pistols, particularly Glocks, cannot be de-cocked. Striker-fired autoloaders such as the Glock are easy to spot since they don’t have an exposed hammer…it is pretty much just flat in the back. pewpewtactical.com/single-action-vs-double-action-vs-striker/

Double Action/Single action pistols have a higher lb first trigger pull then lighter lb subsequent trigger pulls. This is usually for smaller pistols with no manual safety. Strikers will typically have same lb trigger pull for each shot gunzmart.com/blog/understanding-handgun-actions/ Most striker fired pistols, particularly Glocks, cannot be de-cocked.
