Does S. A. provide an optic plate. Is it free? Do you request it at purchase? Or have to buy it aftermarket? Thanks

Hi Sean and welcome. None are supplied but none need to be purchased as there is a coupon in the package for you to use to acquire (1) free optics plate of your optics footprint choice directly from Springfield Armory. I got the RMR plate. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
