If you check the specs the have the same sights fiber front and novak adj rear colt does not list the 1982 ccs on their web site (series 80 gun) Unless you are shooting competition I would go with the series 80 (lower priced gun) and not worry about is an most people will never be able to tell the difference in the trigger pull

Yes just caught that also series 70 vs series 80. Both have Great sights just the front ones are different.

The $855 model is a "Series 70" Pistol and the $777 is a "Series 80" Pistol. The $855 has fiber optic front sight. The cheaper one also has many more in stock which is creating the price difference between the two. More stock lower price, less stock higher price.
