Most times, these "Blem" models have a minor detractor on the finish that can barely be noticeable.
Maybe just give Bud's customer service a call at 1-859-368-0371 9am-8pm EST Mon-Fri and ask them about it.

Hi Danny, it is a cosmetic blemish, may a slight or a slight discoloration is spots. Most time the blemish is barely noticeable.

no real way of knowing but they are minor cosmetic flaws the last one i got had a slight discolored spot about the size of a dime on the frame, it was just a different shade of FDE
