I want to purchase the Rock Island 1911 TAC .45 but am unsure wether it is CA compliant. If I cannot find it on the CA-DOJ website list does that mean I will be unable to purchase it online or unable to accept transfer from an FFL dealer? If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Hi Gregory, it would be under "Armscor" which is the Co company to Rock Island on the CA-DOJ website. Since the list has changed on 1/1/2018 Buds list may not be totally accurate(it does not appear on Buds CA legal guns).. --- : oag.ca.gov/firearms/certguns?make=Armscor+Precision
