on the rock island vr80 is the area behind the hand grip open like in the picture or is it solid plastic

There is a finned grip CA compliant model: budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/124611/rock+island+armory+vr80lfmrb+vr80+12+ga+20+5+1+3+black+anodized+featureless+stock+black+right+hand ---------------------------------------- and there is a fixed magazine CA compliant model: budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/114859/rock+island+armory+vr80ca+sa+12m+20mc+synthetic+ca ------------------------------------- All others are open as well. The VR80 uses a Commercial Buffer Tube and can accept an AR Grip and Butt Stock no issue. Cheers and stay safe!
