So is it just a surface blem? I can deal with that but the picture makes it look like it's missing the front sight fiber.

Hi Austin and welcome. Most of these blems are tiny imperfections in the metal finish. These could be small spots of discoloration or dullness spots. According to reviews from other vendor websites, some owners are unable to find the blemish. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Hi Austin, This item may contain minor cosmetic blemishes, but otherwise is in functional condition. Most blemishes are hardly noticeable.

the front sight is fine it just does not show up well in the photo
